Sharmila Pradhan, a brave young 19-year-old mother, endured a 45-minute hike along rough village paths while feeling stomach cramps and discomfort. Her family remained with her until an ambulance arrived to take her to a safe place.
In spite of distance and geographical barriers, she arrived at the health center, she was found to have a normal labor. With utmost care and assistance from the medics, she gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl at 11:13 PM.
The healthy 3000-gram infant was greeted with love by proud parents Sharmila and Sujan Pradhan. Their happiness filled the room, a testament to families in rural areas who never give up: to resilience and family bonds.
