A health and dental checkup program was successfully conducted for scholarship students supported through the financial assistance of Love Nepal UK and Namaste Nepal Czech Republic, under the management of Baal Tatha Mahila Bikash Kendra (Development Center for Children and Women - DCWC) at June 5, 2026

A total of 84 scholarship students participated in the program, including 77 students supported by Namaste Nepal and 7 students supported by Love Nepal UK. Among the participants, 44 were girls and 40 were boys.

The students came from various communities in Chaurideurali Rural Municipality (Wards 1, 2, and 3) of Kavrepalanchok District and Doramba Shailung Rural Municipality (Wards 4 and 7) of Ramechhap District. They are currently studying in different schools and attended the program as part of the scholarship support initiative.

The event included both general health checkups and dental examinations, helping to identify and address several health concerns among the students. In response to recommendations from the medical team, some students received treatment for ear-related issues, including earwax removal, minor ear infections, and hearing difficulties. Dental services were also provided to students who had oral health concerns such as early-stage cavities and plaque buildup. Professional cleaning and preventive care were offered to help improve and maintain healthy teeth and gums.

This program reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting not only the education of children but also their overall health and well-being. Good health plays a vital role in helping students learn, grow, and achieve their full potential.
