On the 29th of Falgun 2080 B.S. (12 March 2024), a comprehensive School Health Camp was conducted by the DCWC Community Hospital at Sri Antarastriya Yuva Barsa Secondary School, situated in Ward No. 4 of Doramba Sailung Rural Municipality, Ramechhap. This initiative aimed to promote holistic health and wellbeing among the students and faculty.
The event encompassed various medical services, including dental check-ups, ENT examinations, and general health assessments such as blood pressure and pulse rate measurements. A fully equipped first-aid box, containing essential medications and equipment, was generously provided to the school, ensuring ongoing support for health emergencies.
Additionally, to foster good oral hygiene practices, toothbrushes and toothpaste were distributed to 10 exceptional students.
A total of 69 individuals benefited from the services rendered during the camp, comprising 64 students and 5 teachers. The breakdown of participants by gender was as follows:
