The School Health Awareness Program at Kharpani Secondary School in Ramechhap, Doramba-04 on December 28th,2023, conducted by the DCWC Community Hospital, has proven to be highly effective. The initiative, benefiting 92 students from Grade 2,3,4 & 5. 8 teachers, and 4 community members, included the distribution of first-aid boxes, toothpaste, and toothbrushes, with a particular emphasis on dental care. The success of the program is evident in the positive outcomes observed. Notably, a dental camp was proposed and executed to provide essential dental care services, including check-ups, treatments, and education on proper oral hygiene practices.
Furthermore, the proactive approach of the DCWC team was demonstrated by providing the school with a first aid box, ensuring immediate medical assistance for minor injuries or health concerns on the premises.
